Dr. Ryan Mairs has been passionate about healthy living and chiropractic care since his teenage years as an athlete in small town Lisbon, ND. After suffering a shoulder injury, he realized that his interests and abilities were focused on helping people overcome their pain and injuries without drugs or surgery. Research and personal experience with a local chiropractor helped to put him on the path toward chiropractic.
After graduating from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1998, Dr. Mairs developed a compassionate heart for children of all ages and continued his education to become certified as a Pediatric Chiropractor through the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association). During these three years of specialized training, Dr. Mairs studied how to best care for children from birth through the teen years, and even how to care for their mother throughout the pregnancy. With a variety of areas in which chiropractic can benefit children, Dr. Mairs has helped children who have suffered from colic, chronic ear infections, allergies, and even bedwetting.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Ryan Mairs has helped to tackle the painful problems of his patients ranging everywhere from migraine headaches to herniated discs, athletic injuries, and even neuropathy pain! He believes in getting to know the patient and finding the underlying causes that may be contributing to their health issues.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ryan and his wife Tanya enjoy investing their extra hours in the lives of their four children. As a family, they spend their time together supporting their church ministry, enjoying local athletic events, and exploring the beauty of Minnesota state parks and bike trails. What a beautiful community to grow up in!
